I Ask. I Wait. I Respect. – The Park Adventure
An educational game for children aged 4–8, with short sentences, an icon on every answer and a voice that reads the texts, designed for kindergarten and early primary classes, and for playing at home. The child walks through a park and meets dogs in different situations: a dog on a leash, a sleeping dog, an eating dog, a mother with puppies, a dog tied up without its owner, an unknown dog approaching.
At every encounter the game pauses and asks a question. A wrong answer is never punished: the action stops safely, the child sees how the dog feels, gets the rule and tries again.
The three rules
- I ASK – I stop at a distance and ask the owner whether I may try.
- I WAIT – I let the dog come to me, if it wants to.
- I RESPECT THE DOG – if it turns its head, backs away or growls, I stop. The dog said "No".
The central rule: the owner may say "Yes", but the dog must also say "Yes" with its behaviour. The owner's permission only allows an attempt.
